Silenes nature park in the beginning, like Riču lake area and Silenes forest nature contract was found in 1977. The Silenes Nature Park is 37,9 km. squere. Part of Riču and Sitas lakes are included in the nature park complex and some smaller lakes as well, which are creating beautiful lake scenery.
