Description
The Bank of Latvia Visitors’ Centre «Money World« is a modern financial education and information centre. Its main purpose is to promote public understanding of what the central bank does every day and how and why it does it, as well as to provide an insight in the system of central banks of the European Union and its role in the global monetary policy . The display is based on interaction, it invites the visitor to explore dozens of various stands with the help of multi-media, short film reels and knowledge tests. Visitors 14+ are welcome. Information is provided in Latvian, English and Russian. Free of charge. Open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, tours start at 9.30 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and .30 p.m. Visits to be announced in advance by telephone
