Description
Elernes Churchs stone building was built by Heinrihs Tinens in 1650. Till 1761. it was used for Lutheran parish needs. Its architecture, its size and also its details are very similar to others churches of Courland duchy, which were buit on this territory in this period of time. Also its interior arrangement is tradicional for this epoch. About this says some woodcut fragments of mannerism style, here and there in the church are seen angel heads and relief with the image of Mary proclamation.
