The Zante Museum contains exhibits reflecting the everyday life of the local inhabitants of Zante in different historical periods. Hundreds of military articles associated with World War II and the dramatic events taking place in Kurzeme (July 1944 - May 1945) are on permanent display in the museum. The museum was founded in 1996. |
