Description

Skrīveru manor was shaped at the end of 16th century. From 1881 till 1887 was built a new impressive castle at Daugavas shore. Construction completely finished in 1900. Skrīveru castle architecture was similar to those of German castles during that time. It was destroyed in 1905 and was continiously destroyed during first world war. Today there is left only a peace of tower, stairs which lead to Daugava and the park.
