Description
The summer cottage in Majori where the poets Rainis (1865-1929) and Aspazija (1865-1943) lived from 1927 until Rainis' death in 1949 has been turned into a museum. The collection serves as an evocative and memorable tribute to their lives and work, providing an insight into their personalities and creative activities. The museum also includes the poets' private library. Visitors are able to watch documentary films about the poets
