The Museum of Lapmežciems rural municipality was founded in 1999. In 2005 the museum received an accreditation certificate. Here you can look at many valuable evidences on history of the creation and development of the rural municipality and also on the work and life of Lapmežciems ancient fishermen. The Museum also organizes excursions accompanied by a guide to Kaņieris castle mound and other sightseeing objects. |
