Description
The Latvian poet Aspazija (1865-1943) spent the last ten years of her life in this house near the river Lielupe. The summer cottage is a typical monument of the early 20th century wooden architecture of Jurmala. Since 1987 it has been the property of Jurmala Town Museum, and in 1996 it opened its doors to the general public. The museum presents exhibitions on various themes.
