In the 17th century the landlord Demkins built the first estate, in the 18th century the Poland king August III gifted the Pasiene lands to the Chief Chancellor Jānis Borhs and he built the beautiful Pasiene Catholic Church. At the end of the 18th century the property came into Benislavski’s family’s hands. The last owner of the estate was countess Obolenska, after the war in the premises of Pasiene estate was Pasiene elementary school. At the moment it is privatised and needs renovation. |
