The estate was built in the 19th century on the Panu island in Istra Lake. The estate is surrounded by a large park with rare trees and herons living in the park. The estate was famous for its excellent gardener and artists’ evenings. Now it is an Old People’s Home. Istra Lake and islands are the nature reserve, where you can observe various birds. In the neighbourhood there are many small polish estates – Konecpole, Annapole, etc.
