Voldemars Jakobsons Memorial Museum was opened in 1976 in ‘‘Galdini’‘, Bebri village. The house was built in 1870-1876 and is a historical monument of local significance. The aim of the museum is to provide an insight into the life and creative activity of the artist VoldemArs Jakobsons (1899-1974) and to arouse people's interest in the development of Latvian sculpture of the 20th century. The house has been preserved so that it looks as it did during VoldemArs Jakobsons' lifetime. It is surrounded by a garden designed by the artist himself. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to his creative work and includes drawings, sculptures, ethnographic rarities, ancient furniture, a small library and diaries.
