If the "Amata Geological Trail" is meant, then you can start your walk at the bridge next to the parking lot here 57.22165, 25.23532. You have to go towards the white bridge and take the narrow way under the bridge on the right side. You will find then a way heading north along Amata River. Sadly to say, to see the formations along the river, you have to get down and up. You will see the trails not on google map but like on OSMAND. The thing was in August 2018 that the trail was really rough. Rocks came down from the formations and blocked a lot. It was unsafe to hike there. You will end up in the river and not knowing where to walk. If you can manage to walk back the way you came from - after having a look at the formations - then do so and walk the trail more up, not along river finding somehow another way. The trails were far beyond of being safe. Do not go alone!
The problem with this hike is that there is no other trail to lead you back to the parking lot. Maybe finding someone to pick you up in the north.
For me, now after hiding that path, I would not recommend going - unsafe and there is not really anything nice to see. Really, nothing interesting. |
