The Andrej Upits Memorial Museum, founded in 1972, is housed in the apartment which was the last home of the writer Andrejs Upits until his death. Upits died in 1970 after a long, fruitful and complex life. In the rooms with thousands of books on the shelves, you can explore the writer's works of fiction and also evaluate his controversial activity as a critic and politician.
