Museum of Education of University of Latvia

The Museum of Education was founded in 1990. It is devoted to the history of education and schools in Latvia. Its activities include scientific research, lectures and conferences. The museum holds rare books, original documents and other exhibits dealing with the history of education. It organizes displays of textbooks and other publications. The museum cooperates with the Latvian Association of School Museums, the magazine ‘‘Skolotajs’‘ and Ludis Berzins Memorial Foundation. Once a year the museum publishes a collection of articles under the title ‘‘Age and Personality’‘.
