The origins of Valmiermuiža’s alus go right back to the days of the ancient Swedes when the castle inn was built not far from the Livonian era castle. Maintaining Valmiermuiža’s renowned traditions of hospitality, the brewery’s landlords invites to visit the manor grounds and craft brewery.
During your visit, you will have the chance to find out how to discover the taste of beer and which foods are best enjoyed with it. Duration of a visit to Valmiermuiža’s craft brewery and beer sampling – 1.5 hours. Ticket price - Ls 4.00 per person. For groups less than 4 visitors - Ls 16.00 per tour. Additionally to beer degustation it is possible to taste local cheese selection (Ls 2,00), special beer cocktails (Ls 2,00), beer ice-cream (Ls 1,00) or even agree on a good meal. Children, accompanied by parents, will enjoy homemade ice-cream, drinks, snacks and wooden toys to play (Ls 2,00). |
