Description
House was built in 1830 as a woodman yard. It is one of a kind in Jelgavas region. In 1965 building was reconstracted and a new roof was put on, however the original design is still preserved. In the room there are furniture from the beggining of 20th century and home goods. Rooms are filled with green tea scent. Here one can also try home made beer. The owner of the house Imants Freidenfelds has created a garden with 20 latvian and other tree breeds which bloom from early spring to late fall. Guests will enjoy real country house life, there is many spicies of birds and pets to see. In the second story of the house there is a small exhibition to see.
