Description
The Latvian Museum of Architecture was founded in 1994. It is housed in one of the three buildings (15th-16th centuries) that form the ensemble of architectural monuments that bear the unofficial name Tris brali (Three brothers). The museum has a database of Latvian architects from 1869 up to the present. This is supplemented by drawings, photos, models and competition entires. The museum's drawing collection contains up to a thousand original drawings and plans as well as qualitative blueprints and photocopies. The museum also offers a temporary exhibition programme.
