"Lemberga hute" Snow Hill

Already for the second year, lovers of winter sports and active leisure can enjoy all sports and leisure activities, offered by the snow hill “Lemberga hūte”. The hill is the main object in the would-be Ventspils Park of Adventures. It is unique as it is artificially created and is located near the Baltic Sea – at the coastal lowland of Western Latvia. The hill is made of building-refuse and useless soil, obtained during the period from 2003 to 2006.

The snow hill “Lemberga hūte” offers an opportunity to engage in sports and leisure activities as well as to entertain at:

• skiing trail (180m);
• enlarged snowboard park with spring-boards, slides and rails (180m);
• tube-sliding trail;
• beginners’ trail;
• children’s hill.

The slope’s length at the snow hill “Lemberga hūte” amounts to 180m, its peak reaches the width of 32m and the hill’s height is 38m.
