The Art Museum Built from 1935-1936, this was the first art museum in Latvia to be established outside of Riga . In its 60 years it has amassed one of the most valuable publicly accessible collections of Latvian 20^th century art. The museum also features a library and reading room and provides consultant services in art and history of the region
