Description
The poets Rainis (1865-1929) and Aspazija (1865-1943) purchased a two-storey wooden house in the centre of Riga in 1924, but began living there only in the autumn of 1926. In the partially furnished memorial apartment visitors are received by the poets themselves, shown in documentary films from the 1920s featuring Rainis and Aspazija in the apartment, walking in the park and in other settings.
